Last month my oldest daughter had a sleep over with her 2 bff's. That night we gave the girls make-overs and had them dress up in pretty dresses. Allison loved it and was all into it, which is odd for her. So after taking a few pics I've made a new layout for her scrapbook this year.

New Endeavors in My Life

I have been neglecting my blog for so long. Life has been hectic and I've been taking on more and more responsibilty lately. All for the good though, I'm finally enjoying what life is throwing my way. So what are the new endeavors in my life you ask? Well I've decided that I'm going to start getting more involved in different things going on in my life. I've joined the steering (leadership) team in my MOPS group after being in this MOPS group for 4 years and I'm loving it. I'm also getting more involved in my daughter's elementary school, by joining the yearbook commitee this school year. I'm enjoying so much by getting to go to my daughter's school and take pictures of events and just be involved.

So what have I been doing in scrapbooking lately? I've finished my youngest daughter's first year scrapbook album and make a lot of amazing layouts using the great products from my CT's.

Crazy Couple of Weeks & New Scrapping Layout

It has been forever since I've been here and boy it's been crazy around here. First, Friday two weeks ago I noticed we had water under our laminate wood flooring in my hallway when I went to bed that night. So we turned the water off that night (being it was 11 p.m. and no way to find the source that late at night) and went to bed. Saturday morning I woke up and the water had spread into my bedroom and livingroom area along with the hallway. So we started searching for the problem. After a complete day of searching and cutting holes in some of the walls in my guest bathroom we found the problem was a plugged up p-trap for our a/c unit. The builder had plumbed the secondary overflow tray incorrectly and caused the water from the plugged up primary pan to leak down the pipe into my guest bathroom and run under the wall going into my hallway and livingroom. BIG MESS!!

We finally have everything dried out and my flooring is replaced in the livingroom, but my bedroom is still in need of new flooring since we used everything good in there to fix the livingroom.

I haven't had much time to really sit down and just blog. We have been going here and there a lot the past 2 weeks. I'm so exhausted, but it's really been fun.

Yesterday I sat down and actually scrapped a page for my CT teams and so I wanted to share that with everyone. I have a QP I made last week, but haven't had time to upload it for downloads. I hopefully soon will be able to get to that it is on my desktop computer though and I'm not there right now. :)

For now I'll just share my zoo layout using My 4 Princesses Designs kit Zoo-tastic and a template by Robyn Pali Designs Template Set #1.

Happy Friday

I have almost survived another week of watching kids. They had a great time in VBS this week at Humble Area First Baptist Church. They were entertained by Dennis Lee a great ventriloquist and man of God. They have learned so much about God's Word and had fun doing it.

Today I managed to get a new layout done using My4Princesses Designs kit Easily Amused. I also used Robyn Pali Design's Template #3 to complete this great layout. You can find both designers exclusively at Divine Digital.

A Sad Day For Enchanted Studio Scraps

Today Trish and Amy announced that Enchanted Studio Scraps will be closing down immediately. They have had issues with their server and just other things going on in their personal lives so now is the time they thought best to move on. I am sad to see them close.

However, moving along with my CT's I will now be posting over at Divine Digital. My4Princesses Designs and Robyn Pali Designs have opened new stores there and will be creating new stuff soon so stayed tuned.

I found enough time yesterday to get a few layouts done so I thought I'd share them with you.

New Adventures

Today I started my first day of watching my husband's cousin's 2 kids Madi & Trevor. They are good kids and really help by keeping Allison busy during the day. It's been a trying day but I know it will get better with time.

Also today Robyn Pali Designs & My4Princesses Designs announced the opening of their new Colab Store at Enchanted Studio Scraps. I'm a member of both designers CT and really enjoy when they do a colab together because they are so great. Be sure to check out their new store.

Forever Sisters Scraps

First Day of Summer Break is offically here

Today is our first day of summer break. It was nice to not have to start my day at 6 a.m. for once. We are looking forward to getting into the lazy summer schedule and just go with the flow around here. I plan to begin taking the kids back to the library for story times once a week and then to Wendy's for a great storytime with Merry Maker's Mrs. Carolyn. Allison has really missed these activities this year after starting school and so have I. I miss my contact with other moms. For the rest of this week though we'll just be hanging out at home and the pool.

I hope to get a little scrapbooking done this summer to so you'll be seeing a lot of my layouts and probably some freebies from my experimenting in designing.
