June Color Challenge at Enchanted Studio Scraps & Freebie

Today I completed a mini kit for the Enchanted Studio Scraps June Color Challenge. Deborah posted some really great colors to work with and I came up with a mini kit entitled "Dear Allison" in honor of my oldest daughter.

Honorable Weekend

I hope everyone has a great long weekend to start off the summer. I know many kids are already out of school, but some like my daughter have to go until sometime next week. We are just relaxing this weekend and spending time with the family. No real plans, maybe cooking out on the grill will be in order Monday. Anyway, just wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend and remember to honor our Military for their service to our country, and pray for those serving in foreign lands.

And in honor of Memorial Day one of the designers I love is having a great sale on her items in her store. Be sure to check out her great stuff.

New Laptop & Great New Kit

After a week and a half of no scrapping I finally went out and bought a new Toshiba Laptop. And of course I had to try it out this morning and make a new layout for my CT's.

Here is a layout I made with a new kit coming out tomorrow at Enchanted Studio Scraps by My4Princesses Designs and Robyn Pali Designs. The kit is called My Values and it's a great colab.

What a weekend...

Well the weekend started off a little crummy, Allison woke up this Saturday feeling horrible. After a quick trip to the doctor's office and home with another bunch of antibotics we have a second ear infection since last month. She has only had maybe 5 total in her life, but most of them have been in the past 2 years. So Saturday was a boring day at home listening to her whine all day. Today was a little better. She got up at 6 a.m. and then decided to watch T.V. for awhile before waking me back up. She was feeling much better though. Then this afternoon, we went over to the inlaws to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. All in all it was a pretty good day.

Getting Started

It's been years since I had a blog up and running. I'm a little rusty when it comes to getting things set up, but hopefully soon I figure it out.

This blog will be about life and my designs (digi scrapping and crafting). I look forward to sharing things with everyone.
